Club Announcement | Uni-Norths Owls Committee

We would like to thank our former Owls Vice President, supporter and Norths player, Richard Taplin (AKA Curly or Ox), for the unwavering commitment, effort and love he has poured into the club, not only over 7 years in an offical capacity but the 30 plus years he has been associated with Owls/Norths. Rich has always been happy to help, passionate about what he does and loves a bit (or a lot) of banter. The club would not be where it is today without him and we are so grateful for everything he has accomplished for the Owls. We can’t thank...

Vale Gordon Scott

Vale Gordon Scott Sad news from another of the 1938 original clubs with the death of Gordon Scott. Gordon was an Easts man through and through and was renowned amongst the clubs as a genial yet incredibly hardworking passionate rugby man. Gordon also coached Easts under-18 to an undefeated season in 1987. It was always a pleasure to bump into him for a chat and a thorough analysis of local rugby....
